Before his present role, Mr. Gaston began his career as a programmer analyst, client and server developer for the Reliance Comm/Tec Corp in 1993 and became a software developer for Trase Miller in 1995. He subsequently served as a senior system consultant for Navigant Consulting in 1996, taking a role as a software developer for ALAS in 1999. At the same time, he was the owner and executive technology consultant for PSINC - Partnering Solutions Inc. from 1998 until 2013 and was a senior software developer and systems analyst for Sargent and Lundy from 2008 until 2019. He continued his career as a Scrum master with Blue Ocean Workshops LLC and project coordinator for the Supervisor Window 10 deployment team for Brooksource in 2019. He also authored "How to Get Big Things Done So You Can Master the Universe," which was published by Amazon/Kindle in 2020.
Among his professional accomplishments, Mr. Gaston is proud to have established his own consulting firm and to have created The Pastoral Care Application, a cutting-edge software application designed to keep track of the various services offered by the church and their effectiveness in serving the community. This software provides valuable insights and analytical data for improving the quality of services.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Gaston earned an Associate of Arts in liberal arts from Kendall College in 1988. Following this achievement, he attained a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems from DeVry University in 1993. Well-qualified in his field, he is a certified ScrumMaster with the Scrum Alliance and a professional Scrum master I, which has allowed him to hone his skills in managing complex projects and leading teams towards success.
Looking to the future, Mr. Gaston intends to obtain a professional Scrum master II certification and professional facilitator certification, which will accomplish his dual goals of showcasing his advanced knowledge and expertise in the field of software development and enabling him to lead and facilitate group discussions and meetings with greater effectiveness and confidence.
