Mr. Hunt says that although there has been a major campaign to replace bathtubs with showers, the Centers for Disease Control put out a report in 2022 that shows that replacing bathtubs with showers has proven to be ineffective in preventing injuries (ABC News report, February 2022). He goes on the say that he "hopes to create a legacy for his daughters and family, to be listed in the American Inventors book as an example to all people globally. Innovative ideas can come from any and everybody. It is a reminder that everyone has genius within themselves, no matter how elementary one thinks the idea may be."
Mr. Hunt founded and stepped into the role of chief executive officer of Hunt Innovations LLC, in 2021. To date, he cites his most notable achievement as obtaining his official patent for his invention. Prior to focusing his entrepreneurial efforts toward bathroom design and solutions, Mr. Hunt earned a dual associate's degree in business and marketing from the College of Business and Technology at Sullivan University and gained experience and business acumen working in the car business for nearly 30 years.
Over the course of his career in the car business, Mr. Hunt had the pleasure of working alongside several individuals whose business approach and professionalism were highly influential. Through his business experience and personal self-discovery, he found himself on an entrepreneurial path and devoted ample time, effort, and financing toward his vision to make it a reality. Ultimately, his efforts resulted in the successful invention and patenting of a revolutionary bathroom product that transforms the bathroom into the place of safety and serenity it claims to be.
