In 2001, the premier Club at Porto Cima in Sunrise Beach, Missouri, welcomed Mr. Moody as its general manager, and he subsequently progressed to hold the same title at Steelwood Country Club in Loxley, Alabama, from 2006 to 2009.
From 2009 to 2013, Mr. Moody was proud to lead the Country Club at Woodmore in Mitchellville, Maryland, as the general manager and chief operating officer before continuing his career with Earth-To-Go in Richland, Missouri, as the national sales manager from 2014 to 2015. Finally, Mr. Moody contributed to the Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, Illinois, in the capacity of general manager from 2015 to 2019, where he was gratified to reintroduce professional golf to the club and to the city by spearheading the effort to secure the Web.com Tour's Lincoln Land Charity Championship.
Exceptional academic and industry training is central to Mr. Moody's professional advancement and includes a Bachelor of Arts in American and European History and Political Science from the University of Evansville, which he completed in 1980. Notably, he also holds important credentials as a Certified Chief Executive, CCE, as designated by the Club Management Association of America; as the first African American to achieve this accreditation with the organization, Mr. Moody counts this as one of his most significant accomplishments.
Numerous accolades have marked the highlights of Mr. Moody's career thus far. He also showed dedication to civic service by holding a seat on the board of directors of the Greater Bowie Chamber of Commerce from 2011 to 2012, and Mr. Moody proudly served on the DEI Task Force Committee of the Club Management Association of America.
Mr. Moody credits his success to perseverance, higher education and an ability to prioritize taking the most critical actions as applicable in each unique situation. He attributes his strong work ethic to his father's example and notes great pride in his father's military service to the United States Army and Navy.
