Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Bennett aligns himself with the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity.
In light of his outstanding achievements, Dr. Bennett received the Eagle Award from the Boy Scouts of America in 1969. The cornerstone of his success lies in the expectations set by his parents. His father was a concert pianist and studied at Julliard and the University of Southern California before completing his doctorate of musical arts at Stanford University. Similarly, his mother, a social worker at Columbia, has inspired him throughout his career. In the coming years, Dr. Bennett intends to positively influence high school children at Morningside Academy and celebrate his wife and children. His wife, Suzanne, is a retired nurse practitioner, while his sons, Michael and Matthew have both obtained or are pursuing doctoral degrees in their respective fields.
