She has also shared her passion for dance and gymnastics by teaching and choreographing in several facilities.
Civically invested, Ms. Buack-Shelton has contributed significantly to her community. Apart from her role at Culture Shock Oakland, she teaches trauma-informed yoga through the Prison Yoga Project, aiding individuals in transforming their lives. Notably, she served as an Assistant Coach for Women's Intercollegiate Athletics-Women's Gymnastics at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2007 to 2010.
Ms. Buack-Shelton earned her undergraduate degree in political science in 2005. Additionally, she holds credentials in law as a paralegal and in health and wellness, with E-RYT 200 and 500 certifications, and Yoga Sculpt certification.
