She is also fully responsible for operating the Advanced Surgery Center's surgical center and directing the nursing and gastrointestinal technology programs.
Before being acquired by the Advanced Surgery Center, Ms. Le was a gastroenterology registered nurse at the Fremont Surgery Center from 2016 to 2020. She also served with the Palo Alto Medical Foundation in several capacities, including as a moderate sedation registered nurse at endoscope centers with Sutter Health and a registered nurse with the Surgery Center of Fremont from 2005 to 2016, as well as a telephone advice registered nurse from 1999 to 2003. Moreover, Ms. Le worked with Kaiser Permanente in its emergency department and specialized in trauma and orthopedics at John Muir Health. She commenced her career in 1998 as a TCU registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Alexian Brothers Hospital.
Ms. Le immigrated to the United States from Vietnam at the age of 28, accompanied by her family, who were sponsored by the United States government as political refugees. Despite not being well-versed in the English language, Ms. Le persevered and began working in the retail, food service and hospitality industries, eventually attending San Francisco State University to attain a nursing degree while concurrently working several jobs and supporting her siblings. Within five years, Ms. Le received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997 and went on to excel in her career. Adjacent to her bachelor's degree, she also received certification in advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support.
Ms. Le attributes her professional success to becoming an American citizen and being afforded the opportunity to progress in the health care sector. In this regard, she has always enjoyed caring for other individuals who require medical care and treatment, and her profession as a nursing director plays the perfect role in helping underserved populations obtain the resources necessary to survive and thrive. Looking toward the future, she aims to transition into education and provide mentorship and encouragement to the younger generation of medical professionals.
