Mr. Martin began working in 1990 as a sales support analyst at Cray Research Inc. and subsequently joined Enabling Technologies Group as a project delivery manager from 1992 to 1996. Additionally, he spent over 20 years with IBM, beginning as a sales and marketing specialist from 1996 to 2001 and then as a business development executive and client technical specialist between 2001 and 2019.
A dedicated civil advocate, Mr. Martin has been active as a mentor for Restoration Atlanta since 2018. While coming of age, he spent many years actively engaged with the Boy Scouts of America, ultimately reaching the highest rank as an Eagle Scout. During those formative years with the organization, Mr. Martin became encouraged to pursue computers and technology.
Mr. Martin graduated from Auburn University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in marketing. He also received numerous professional credentials from IBM and The Open Group and became recognized as a project management professional through the Project Management Institute.
As part of his continued commitments, Mr. Martin is a master-certified information technology specialist through The Open Group.
