Highly educated, Mrs. Canini graduated with an associate degree in secretarial science and executive secretary studies from Lord Fairfax Community College in 1982. She also studied at Shenandoah College, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration and at Shenandoah University earning a Master of Business Administration in 1984 and 1992, respectively. Moreover, Mrs. Canini received numerous professional designations, including as a licensed insurance agent in accident, health, life, variable life, and variable annuities. She also received Series 6, 63, 7, 65, and Securities Industry Essentials licenses and credentials as a master elite advisor and a certified plan fiduciary advisor as well as a behavioral financial advisor.
As part of her professional commitments, Mrs. Canini is a member of the National Association of Professional Women and the National Ethics Association. In light of her success, she has been recognized many times with various awards for her work, including an Advancing our Profession Award from the Ladenburg Institute of Women and Finance in 2019. Gayle's past accomplishments include being a board member of the Advisory Council of Securities America, Inc., a mentor for both the LIFT mentoring program with Ladenburg Institute of Women and Finance and the W-Forum mentoring program with Advisor Group.
