Recruited for the position by U.S. Ambassadors Andrew Young and Carlton A. Masters, he managed and coordinated all sectors of GoodWorks' business development efforts. Mr. Tadesse was also the president and founder of Vintage Consultant International LLC, a private firm where he promoted international business relationships from 1999 to 2009. Moreover, he was employed by the Rainbow PUSH Coalition between 1991 and 1999, beginning as a deputy national field director, then as the director for international affairs, special assistant to the president, and chief executive officer, and finally, as the director of international affairs. During his career with the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, Mr. Tadesse became recognized for assisting in establishing the strategy and coordinating logistics that reinforced Rev. Jesse Jackson's role in negotiating the release of hostages during the North Atlantic Treaty Organization operations during the Serbia-Kosovo conflict.

Highly educated, Mr. Tadesse graduated from The George Washington University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in international affairs and a Master of Arts in political management and finance in 1995.
