Prior to her role at Capital One, Nikita gained tremendous industry and market esteem through her culturally transformative and highly impactful leadership role at Amazon, where she led unprecedented global hiring volumes across AWS's multi-billion dollar Infrastructure business, and in the process turned around a government hiring program in less than 6 months while also building a highly strategic, successful DEI program that enabled Amazon to significantly increase its hiring of qualified diverse candidates during Nikita's tenure. Throughout the span of Nikita's career, her leadership roles also included critical roles at Conduent and PwC, also establishing and leading teams to top performance while enabling the growth and diversification of some of our world's largest employers. Nikita's proven expertise across the human capital arena includes multiple skillsets: talent acquisition, OKR/North Star development, performance management, organizational development, Keynote Speaking and DEI. Nikita also founded Ascension12 Consulting; a global, niche recruitment firm where her team assisted mid-cap, Fortune 5000, and public sector companies in the hiring of top talent across the globe.
Nikita's commitment to the community has been hallmarked by her loyal mentorship of aspiring leaders, her philanthropic contributions to the homeless and those impacted by domestic violence. To prepare for her esteemed career, Nikita earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, and prior to joining Carlow University in 1994, served as a volunteer freelance writer for the Beaver County Times in PA, where her front-page inspirational articles on social issues of avoiding drugs, remaining steadfast to goals and advocating against community violence, inspired thousands in Pennsylvania.
