As president of the company, Mr. Lathrop handles daily administrative tasks, including the mentorship of new talent and management of various clients and investment plans.
Previously, Mr. Lathrop served as a trust officer for Worthen Bank and Trust in Little Rock, Arkansas, from 1973 to 1981, having begun with the National Bank of Commerce in San Antonio, Texas, in 1970. During this time, he garnered an invaluable education in the intricacies and expectations of the finance industry. In accounting for his success, he credits his ability to listen to the needs of his clients and formulate plans that align with their investment objectives. Moreover, Mr. Lathrop has been inordinately proud to work with like-minded colleagues across four decades, many of whom hail from different generations and hold the talent necessary to step into his role once he retires.

Mr. Lathrop has benefited richly from the tutelage of various mentors, some of whom he has remained in contact with since the early stages of his journey. Looking toward the future, he aspires to wind down his career as the chief operating officer of his firm.
Mr. Lathrop studied finance at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He went on to St. Mary's University, from which he earned a Master of Business Administration in 1973. Three years later, Mr. Lathrop concluded his academic efforts at the National Graduate Trust School of Northwestern University.
