Supported by nearly a decade of experience in behavioral health and therapeutic settings, Christine LePosa has been intrinsically motivated to help others cope with and overcome trauma, particularly children and individuals from underprivileged families. Since 2022, she has thrived as a counselor at Belmont Pines Hospital, having initially joined the medical facility in 2020 as a counselor in the acute inpatient unit. Following this role, she served as the director of clinical services for one year before commencing her current position. Earlier in her career, she served in similar capacities at Valley Counseling Services between 2017 and 2020 and South Bay Community Services between 2014 and 2017.
Working by the mantra "Practice makes progress," Ms. LePosa also possesses experience with the foster care system, the adoptive population and non-traditional family structures and dynamics. Likewise, she is in the process of developing an online platform that will provide information and resources on healing from trauma. Titled RISE Resources LLC, the platform aims to create a global community that promotes health and resilience. Notably, RISE Resources embodies Ms. LePosa's important work through the tenets of Reach, Inspire, Support and Empower.

Additionally, she attributes much of her success to her faith, which has propelled her forward in all her endeavors. Although she has experienced many career achievements, she is particularly proud of becoming trained as a neurosequential model of therapeutics (NMT) provider and a licensed professional clinical counselor. She is also certified in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
In the coming years, Ms. LePosa strives to continue providing her services in behavioral health to trauma survivors across the nation and, eventually, the world with a focus on survivors of natural disasters and community violence.
Ms. LePosa graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in applied health science in 2008. She subsequently received a Master of Arts in counseling psychology from Lesley University in 2014. Moreover, Ms. LePosa is certified in CPR, AED and first aid and holds a certification from the Crisis Prevention Institute.
