An expert in his field, Dr. Scheraga holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and a Master of Arts in economics from Brown University. Subsequently, he expanded his professional knowledge by completing a PhD in economics from the University of Connecticut, Storrs. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, he is affiliated with the American Society of Transportation & Logistics, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the Academy of International Business, the Academy of Management, and the Academy of International Business. In conjunction with his work, Dr. Scheraga volunteers at Fairfield University's Bellarmine Campus.
Due to his vast breadth of knowledge, Dr. Scheraga has contributed to a number of articles in professional journals. In light of his considerable achievements, he won the Allen J. Throughout his career, Dr. Scheraga also received the Outstanding Research Paper Award, the Herbert O. Whitten Service Award, and the Aviation Research Paper Award from the Transportation Research Forum, the Alpha Sigma Nu National Jesuit Honor Society Graduate Teacher of the Year Award and the Cura Personalis Faculty Mentor of the Year Award through Fairfield University, and a fellowship through the Arthur Andersen, LLP.
While his career has been filled with highlights, Dr. Scheraga takes the most pride in the recognition he has received for his work in the industry.
