Prior to her current position, Ms. Wilson began her career as a registered client associate with Merrill Lynch in 1997 and was promoted to a financial advisor in 2000. In recognition of her stellar work there, she received a Special Achievement Award in 1999. She subsequently served as a registered client associate there from 2010 until 2012. Throughout her career, she has also supported local grassroots organizations as well as the Women's Impact Network and the JDRF.
To prepare for her professional journey, Ms. Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in business, management, marketing and related support services from North Carolina State University in 1993. Eminently qualified in her field, she is a certified financial planner by the CFP Board and she completed a WILMA Leadership Institute program in 2023.
Within the coming years, Ms. Wilson intends to continue her work in financial planning, growing her business as well as her skills in the field.
