His firm specializes in offering motivational speaking presentations around the globe, where he engages to share his deep expertise in managing energy and stress with executives and U.S. Navy SEALs. This expertise is drawn from over a decade of work with the Human Performance Institute before its acquisition by Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Evans's approach addresses the stress pandemic exacerbated by modern technology and offers one-on-one coaching sessions to help individuals gain clarity about their purpose and function.
Before founding his consulting firm, Mr. Evans served as executive director at Janus Henderson Labs for Janus Henderson Investors U.S. in Winter Park, Florida, from 2008 to 2020. During his tenure there, he authored four books on sales and persuasion techniques, including "The Takeaway: A Raucous Tale About the Art of the Sale," which he published independently in 2019. His tenure at Janus Henderson was preceded by his executive role as the vice president of business development for American Century Investments in Florida from 2000 to 2008, and across these prestigious titles, Mr. Evans emerged as an expert in energy management, peak performance and leadership.
Service and mentorship remain critical priorities for Mr. Evans. To this end, he founded Keeping it Real, a speaker series to support disadvantaged youth in Florida, and he plans to soon provide coaching and accept a seat on the board with Zoetic, a company known for its groundbreaking water purification innovations. Mr. Evans is also involved in an initiative to reduce recidivism rates by providing virtual reality training in the electrical trade for incarcerated individuals toward securing a successful reintegration into society.
Mr. Evans's academic achievements have played a pivotal role in his advancement and demonstrate his commitment to higher education. He earned a Doctor of Education in organizational leadership from Pepperdine University in 2018 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami in 2000. Mr. Evans also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the University of Florida, which he completed in 1989.
