Ms. Whaley was also presented with the Executive Director Award for outstanding service in procuring, installing and implementing the Center's integrated office automation system. In 2004, Ms. Whaley embarked on an exciting new chapter, transitioning to the world of financial services. She enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to empower individuals by guiding them towards securing and fulfilling retirement strategies.
Ms. Whaley, along with her husband Mike, established Paladin Advisor Group in 2014. Ms. Whaley is serving as the 2024 President of the National Tax-Deferred Savings Association (NTSA), a sister organization in the American Retirement Association, which advocates for a better retirement for all. In addition to her professional pursuits, Ms. Whaley is committed to giving back to her community. She dedicated over two decades to volunteering with Joni and Friends, a faith based mission organization dedicated to reaching and serving families with disabilities. She also served as a worship and choir leader at her church for over twenty years.
Ms. Whaley graduated from Austin High School in Decatur, Alabama. She holds Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Ms. Whaley also holds a license to sell life and health insurance, and credentials as a Certified Retirement Education Specialist (CRES) through NTSA.
