Mr. Malouf's career journey began in 1982, with the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Supreme Judicial District of Texas. He subsequently joined The Law Offices of Boyd Waggoner P.C., The Law Offices of Windle Turley PC, and Milgrim, Thomajan & Lee, before founding The Law Offices of Stephen F. Malouf PC.
Mr. Malouf is a life fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a member of the Texas Bar Foundation, the Dallas Bar Foundation, and the American Bar Foundation. He previously served on numerous educational and nonprofit committees, including the Capital Campaign Committee and as a member of the Board of Trustees for the St. Alcuin Montessori School. Mr. Malouf and his wife also co-founded Empower African Children, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk Ugandan children, and served as the charity's Chairperson from 2006 to 2011.
Mr. Malouf prepared for his career by attending the University of Dallas, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Philosophy. He subsequently received a Doctor of Jurisprudence at Saint Mary's University. He is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and is a member of the bar of the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Fifth, and D.C. Circuits, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of Texas, the District of Colorado, the District of Columbia, the Southern District of New York, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado.
As part of his ongoing professional commitments, Mr. Malouf has been active with numerous related organizations, including the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar of Texas Barlink Online Service, and the Latvian Institute of Foreign Affairs.
Mr. Malouf has been recognized with numerous awards throughout his career for his exceptional contributions to the field of law and service to clients. Among them, he was honored with a Pat Nester Innovation in Professional Development Award from the State Bar of Texas CLE Committee in 2023 and a Legal Legends Award from the Dallas Bar Association's Tort and Insurance Practice Section in 2019.
