Since 2012, she has focused her efforts on treating patients with the utmost care while mentoring new professionals and guiding students to success in their own careers. Additionally, she lends her expertise as the president of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners.
Before her present role, Dr. Granberry worked in acute care, home health and hospice settings as a nurse. She served as a district manager for Cook Urological in 2000 and was a family nurse practitioner for the Campbell Medical Group in 2006. She subsequently worked in a similar capacity for the Palo Alto Medical Foundation from 2007 until 2014 in urgent care and after hours primary care, and for the Foothill Community Clinic from 2008 until 2010 serving underserved populations in primary care. She also was an assistant clinical instructor with Mission College from 2010 until 2017.
Among her professional accomplishments, Dr. Granberry has been named a Top Performer in Clinician & Group Surveys (CG CAHPS) that asks patients to report on their experiences with their providers and received a Five-Star PRC Excellence Award from the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in 2021. She is also a valued member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the California Association for Nurse Practitioners. Most recently she was appointed as a Women in Leadership Advisory Member for Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises.
To prepare for her career in healthcare, Dr. Granberry earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Aurora University in 1986. Following this achievement, she attained a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of San Francisco in 1995 and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2021. Well-qualified in her field, she also holds a post-master's certificate in Family Practice from San Jose State University completed in 2006.
