KALISPELL, MT, March 15, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gordy Lister has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected based on various factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all considered during the selection process.
During the early stages of his career, Gordy gained expertise in sales, steel building erection, home construction, logging, and as a snowmobile and motorcycle mechanic. He won many trophies in snowmobile and motorcycle racing competitions.
In the 1970's Gordy was Youth Pastor.
In the 1980's Gordy led and established an international and interdenominational school of evangelism for Youth with a Mission. Gordy and his staff recruited students from several countries and provided them with survival and spiritual training before leading them on mission trips to smuggle Bibles into China. They also traveled on pioneer missions into remote areas of China and Tibet.
In the 1990's Gordy became a health and wealth home business consultant for a multi-level vitamin marketing company, USANA Health Sciences Inc. Within three years after helping hundreds of others become successful from home, he reached the level of "Emerald" and a six-figure income (joining the USANA Million Dollar Club). Some of those home business owners he helped also became million-dollar club earners. His lifetime net income with USANA was more than $1.5 million. At the International USANA convention Gordy was honored with the "Inspiration" award.
Mr. Lister owns and operates an Old Hickory Shed dealership which he established in 2012. Based in Kalispell, Montana, "Gordy's" Old Hickory Sheds specializes in portable tiny house shells, storage sheds, cabins, garages, workshops, and other structures in various shapes and sizes. Looking toward the future, he hopes to have his son Stormy partner up and take over when he is ready to retire. Based on selling over $1,000,000 worth of portable buildings in a year, the mother company Old Hickory Sheds has recognized "Gordy's" Old Hickory Sheds as a Million Dollar Club member for three years in a row.
Aside from a successful shed business, Gordy contributes to his local community as a member of the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a Captain for house district eight for Convention of States, a national political movement calling for a convention under Article V of the U.S. Constitution dedicated to adding "Term Limits and a Balanced Budget" amendment to the constitution.
