Building upon her professional achievements, Dr. Haque garnered a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, with honors, from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in India in 1999. She subsequently received a Doctor of Medicine in Pathology from Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences in India in 2007, followed by a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of South Alabama in 2020 and fellowships in Surgical Pathology and Hematopathology at Baylor College of Medicine in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Additionally, Dr. Haque received board certifications in Hematopathology and Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from the American Board of Pathology, credentials as a certified CAP inspector, and Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates certification.
Throughout her career, Dr. Haque has established a high level of expertise in surgical pathology and hematopathology. During her tenure at Paras Hospitals, she was pivotal in leading the lab team to establish a comprehensive quality management system that led to national accreditations from the National Accreditation Board of Laboratories and the National Accreditation Board of Hospitals. Her commitment to academic excellence is evident through her active role as a peer reviewer for various prestigious pathology and oncology journals and pathology textbooks and her significant contributions to scientific literature with over 25 poster presentations and more than 30 manuscripts and abstracts published nationally and internationally. She is an author with online pathology journals. Dr. Haque has also served as a team leader for College of American Pathologists (CAP) inspections and played a leading role fostering pathology interest among medical students.
Dr. Haque is a member of numerous prestigious professional organizations within her field, reflecting her active involvement and commitment to advancing pathology and related disciplines. Among these organizations, she has been an ambassador to the U.S. and Canadian Academy of Pathology, a delegate to the American Society for Clinical Pathology, and a member of CAP.
Dr. Haque's academic prowess was recognized early on when she graduated with honors as the salutatorian from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, receiving numerous awards for her exceptional performance.
