Ms. Moede currently serves as a consulting program manager and electronic health records adviser at the White Bird Clinic in Eugene, Oregon, where she has been making significant contributions since 2019. In this role, Ms. Moede works closely with the medical clinic, behavioral health clinic, information technology services, and various other departments (Cahoots, Crisis, Nest, and Dental programs). She has collaborated with information technology specialists and data analysts to manage data reporting to state and county agencies and assists with the implementation of electronic health records for hospitals and nonprofits.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Moede was a program manager at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland from 2017 to 2019. Her extensive experience also includes serving as the interim vice president of information technology at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, California from 2016 to 2017 and as a senior program manager at Ernst and Young Management Consulting/Capgemini, 1994 to 2000 in Los Angeles.
Known for her professional longevity, Ms. Moede's career includes roles as project executive and consultant at Kaiser Permanente in Lancaster from 2015 to 2016 and as healthcare practice lead at TK Moede Consulting Inc. and MW Partners from 2014 to 2017. Furthermore, she has held multiple consulting positions at the Mark Twain Medical Center, a part of Dignity Health, in San Andreas and Stockton during 2014 and 2015, as well as at St. Joseph's Health System in Orange County from 2013 to 2014. A testament to her commitment to the field of health care, Ms. Moede honed her expertise in health care management as a program director and consultant for Dignity Health, formerly known as Catholic Healthcare West, from 2011 to 2013 and as a project manager and consultant from 2007 to 2011.
Owing to her entrepreneurial spirit, Ms. Moede has also operated her own consulting service, TK Moede Consulting Services LLC in Los Angeles since 2005 and now in Eugene. She was a CRTT Respiratory Therapist working at Phoenix health care facilities earlier in her career (1970-1986), and she held project management and consultant positions with Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center, Brotman Medical Center, Tenet Healthcare Corporation, IBM and Capgemini.
Ms. Moede's academic background includes a Master of Business Administration in health care services from the University of Phoenix, which she earned in 1986, and a Bachelor of Science in health care administration from Northern Arizona University in 1984. These qualifications have been instrumental in her professional journey, along with being a professional project manager, PMP.
Throughout her distinguished career, which has spanned over five decades in health care delivery, healthcare management and consulting services, Ms. Moede is most proud of her various contributions and overall impact on electronic health record implementation projects, one of which she considers her most notable achievement despite budget constraints and a small team at the White Bird Clinic/non-profit medical community services. White Bird Clinic is a key non-profit medical community services agency serving the Eugene and Springfield communities.
With numerous achievements that have shaped her career trajectory, Ms. Moede credits much of her success to the personal growth she experienced through her long-standing involvement with a recovery program for over four decades. This program not only helped her turn her life around but also provided her with the focus and energy needed to care for herself and support others facing similar challenges. Her sense of humor has also been a defining characteristic throughout her career.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Ms. Moede enjoys riding her Spyder three-wheel motorcycle, walking her dog, and gardening — activities that offer relaxation and balance to her busy life. Looking ahead, she aims to gradually transition away from her business commitments to embrace more leisurely pursuits such as traveling.
