Previously, Ms. McCurry-Wingate gained valuable expertise as a human resources manager for Whitfield Foods, Inc., and as a public relations consultant for Confidential Consultant, LLC. During the early stages of her career, she also honed her knowledge of employee relations, human resources, management, and more through various positions with Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Fit4Christ Physical Fitness Center, and Integrity Rehab and Associates.
An expert in her field, Ms. McCurry-Wingate earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and management from Huntingdon Liberal Arts College and a Master of Science in human resources management from Troy University. Subsequently, she received a certification in quality standards for family strengthening and support through the National Family Support Network and a certificate through the Society for Human Resource Management. In conjunction with her work, Ms. McCurry-Wingate was named Central AL 2023 Face of Outsource HR and inducted into the inaugural 40 under 40 influential young professionals in Central AL. She has been an ambassador for the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce and currently she is the vice president of the Montgomery Mayor's Young Professional Council. Throughout her career, she has also served as the Child Protect Advocacy Center secretary and volunteered with the Salvation Army.
Due to her vast breadth of knowledge, Ms. McCurry-Wingate has authored and co-authored publications, including "The Real Deal: The Journey," a collection of poetic verses that aims to capture life in its most authentic firm, and "Under the Shadow: Our Journey with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)," which chronicles her father's battle with this disease. Her third book, "Understanding the Assignment," which has yet to be published, delves into women's challenges in contemporary society. Additionally, she published two journals entitled "A Busy Woman: Daily Grace Journey" and the "HR Journal" both that can be found on Amazon. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, she credits her success to being raised by two God fearing parents and being a role model for her siblings.
