While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in his autism research, which he hopes will lead to the prevention, cure and greater understanding of the condition.
CORAL SPRINGS, FL, March 22, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Russel Ogman has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Outside of his work at Broward Health North Hospital in Florida, he is the father to a child with autism, which encouraged him to pursue research into the condition. Mr. Ogman carefully observed that symptom clusters his child experienced were not discussed in the existing literature. Over 20 years, Mr. Ogman developed a theoretical approach that explains the biophysical processes of autism. Due to his vast breadth of knowledge on the subject. he published a comprehensive theoretical research paper, "Autism Revisited: (expanded 2022 version) Serendipitous Observations and Theory Relevant to Autism." It has been fully peer-reviewed, approved for full publishing status, and is currently available online through Science Open Preprints.
Before starting his career, Mr. Ogman earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology from Florida International University. He went on to attend graduate school in Public Health in Florida International University achieving straight A's, but was forced to leave due to financial hardship. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in his autism research, which he hopes will lead to the prevention, cure and greater understanding of the condition. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his firm belief that no problem has ever been created, without the solution to that problem being created simultaneously. In the coming years, Mr. Ogman intends to have his autism research tested and successfully used to treat children with the disorder.
