Mr. Caldwell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in management since 1985 and a Master of Business Administration since 2018 from Trevecca Nazarene University. He also holds certification as an instructor of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, automated external defibrillator, and first aid. Furthermore, Mr. Caldwell received several youth development certifications through the Young Men's Christian Association.
