As an Air Force "military brat," Mrs. Jimenez spent her childhood traveling. These experiences, combined with her mother's love of the news, inspired her to pursue a career as a news producer, media strategist and eventually a digital news reporter. As a graduate of Florida State University, she spent over 20 years producing local news for ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox affiliates, while freelancing for production companies, producing documentaries, commercials and corporate videos. One project for Sony Television called "Make Your Mark," was shown at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas. As production coordinator for the TV Guide Channel, she hired and organized crews for the Academy Awards and Emmy's nationally and internationally for coverage.
Backed by her considerable experience, Mrs. Jimenez excels today as the owner of Newsworthy Stories. She primarily helps businesses, nonprofits, and organizations, generate news coverage for television and social media, often from content generated from their cell phones. Due to her vast breadth of knowledge, Mrs. Jimenez offers several workshops through Newsworthy Stories, based on her book "How to Get Television News Coverage. It's Easier Than You Might Think!" As the host of "Newsworthy Stories with Jacqueline Jimenez," which runs live on multiple social media platforms and streaming networks like Roku and Amazon, Mrs. Jimenez highlights the work of extraordinary individuals like 13-year-old Carter Bonas, who through the media strategies of Newsworthy Stories led him to becoming Sports Illustrated's SportsKid of the Year and so much more!
Mrs. Jimenez is also SBE/CBE certified and vetted to work with government agencies. She promoted, covered, and produced stories for the Broward & Beyond Business Conference for the Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development in 2023 and was sent to the U.S. Virgin Islands and parts of the Caribbean to cover agriculture and conservation entrepreneurship youth retreats for the USDA, Natural Resources Conservation Service in partnership with Amps International, LLC.
Alongside her work in television news production, she is the owner and creator of God's Girl Greetings & Custom Apparel. Looking toward the future, she intends to conduct more corporate masterclasses and speaking engagements.
