Mr. Thomas's academic background has been pivotal in his career trajectory. He earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting and business management from Oklahoma State University in 1972. Completed his New York Stock Exchange, Securities and Brokerage Procedures training, 15t in his class, in 1973. Mr. Thomas remains aware of developments in his industry as a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), and the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission, where he has maintained his Proprietary Real Estate Brokers License for over 35 years.
Mr. Thomas has received several accolades in recognition of his accomplishments, including an Outstanding Young Man of America Award in 1985 and a Best of Business Award from the Small Business Community Association in 2015. For his military service, he was the Battalion, Basic Training Honor Graduate, at Fort Knox, Kentucky and was awarded the American Spirit of Honor Medal from the United States Army in April of 1973.
