During the early stages of his career, he gained valuable expertise in the defense industry, logistics, security, business management, and contract negotiations through executive roles with AAMCORE Inc., Superlative Technologies, Inc., Lockheed Martin, and Advanced Technology/PRC. Between 1969 and 1990, he dedicated himself to his country through the United States Army. As a senior military officer, Dr. Amacher served with distinction in Vietnam and managed resources in collaboration with the White House, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the National Security Council.
An expert in his field, Dr. Amacher holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Subsequently, he expanded his professional knowledge, completing an MBA through Averett University, a PhD in logistics management from Willington University, and diplomas through National Defense University, Defense Systems Management College, and Armed Forces Staff College. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Amacher aligns himself with the International Society of Logistics and the Acquisition Management Association. Alongside his work, Dr. Amacher volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America and has dedicated himself to others through his church for the last 50 years. In light of his professional achievements, he was awarded a Silver Star Medal for gallantry under fire during service in the United States Army, with numerous other military awards, and several internal awards from Lockheed Martin, Black & Decker, the White House, DynCorp, and NPRI.
