He held the same title at Electro, the in-house advertising agency of The Clorox Company, between 2018 and 2021. Mr. Ritt's career trajectory has included several other significant roles, such as the Senior Vice President and Design Director at Deutsch LA in Los Angeles from 2008 to 2011, where he was pivotal in establishing a premier design discipline within an advertising agency and was instrumental in leading the transformative redesign of Volkswagen. His tenure at Deutsch LA was also marked by substantial career growth and contributions to revitalizing other brands like Sony PlayStation, Dr Pepper, Snapple, and Anthem.

Mr. Ritt's collaborative work with esteemed strategists and global marketers has allowed him to explore innovative approaches to design-driven brand systems. Mr. Ritt's earlier roles include former ownership of Pool in San Francisco, where he was the company's Creative Director from 2000 to 2008, and at Man Bites Dog in the same capacity between 1997 and 2000. Earlier in his career, he garnered success as an Associate Creative Director at Gap Inc. from 1996 to 1997.

Aside from his fieldwork, Mr. Ritt has been influential in higher education as a faculty member at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He also has been a guest lecturer at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco. He has been an active board member of The Legacy Circle, a group of alumni dedicated to raising funds that directly benefit students at Art Center College of Design. Moreover, Mr. Ritt has generously donated his time by providing pro bono branding to City of Dreams, an organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youth by equipping them with essential life goals and skills to thrive in challenging environments.

The foundation of Mr. Ritt's success is attributed to his education. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from the College of Creative Studies at University of California-Santa Barbara in 1989 and a second Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Packaging from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena in 1993. Mr. Ritt remains active in his professional community as a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts.

Throughout his career, Mr. Ritt has been recognized with numerous accolades for his success in the industry, including as IHAF Agency of the Year for Electro by the In-House Agency Forum in 2019 and Brand of the Year for Clorox by ADWEEK in 2020. He also received Best in Packaging by ID Magazine, Designer to Watch from Graphic Design USA, and multiple other awards across the advertising and design industry.
