Earlier, Ms. Edwards excelled as marketing manager for client services at Comag Marketing Group between 2000 and 2006 after serving as an account executive at Hearst Magazines from 1998 to 2000. She began her career at Hearst Magazines as an executive assistant and office manager from 1995 to 1997 after working as a clerical assistant at the University of the West Indies in 1993 and 1994.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Edwards dedicates time to volunteering with younger persons and older adults and conducting academic research on mentorship and soft skills.
