Previously, he worked as the managing partner of such law firms as Bizar & Martin and Segal & Greenberg, which underwent numerous name changes between the 1980s and 1990s. Over the years, Mr. Greenberg honed his expertise in family law with several New York City-based firms, including Kamerman & Kamerman, Wallman Greenberg Gasman & McKnight, and Segal, Liling & Greenberg. Due to his vast breadth of knowledge, he has also lectured at the National Business Institute and Sobelsohn Paralegal School.
An expert in his field, Mr. Greenberg holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and sociology from Brooklyn College and a JD from New York University's Law School. Upon graduating, he became licensed to practice through the New Jersey State Bar Association, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Tax Court, the New York State Bar Association, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Greenberg aligns himself with the Masters and Wardens Association, the American Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, and numerous others.
In conjunction with his work, Mr. Greenberg contributed to his community as a trustee with Congregation Emunath Israel. Throughout his career, he has appeared on television several times and co-authored the publication, "Divorce Incites: Conversations with America's Leading Divorce Professionals." He has been honored many times for his outstanding work, earning the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, the Marquis Who's Who Humanitarian Award, the Top 100 Registry Award, and seven Super Lawyer Awards. Mr. Greenberg has also been recognized with an AV rating through Martindale-Hubbell every year since 1985.
While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Greenberg takes the most pride in a case he worked on 40 years ago. He handled the appeal and won a verdict of $1.7 million at a time when there were less than 10 seven-figure verdicts in New York per year. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his love of what he does and his role models in the industry.
