Dr. Fields began his academic journey by earning a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Florida in 1982. Building upon this foundation, he pursued further education, obtaining a PhD in chemistry from Florida State University in 1988. Additionally, he furthered his knowledge through a postdoctoral scholarship at the University of California in 1991.
