Inspired by his parents' hardworking nature, Mr. Paolucci was driven to pursue a creative path, culminating in his current roles as owner and chief executive officer of MASS Architect, LLC. As a sole proprietor, he is involved with all phases of the design and construction process for additions, renovations, and the new construction of custom homes. Before establishing his own firm, Mr. Paolucci gained valuable expertise in the field with Torrey Architecture, Inc., Wessling Architects, Urban Design Group, and Newport Collaborative Architects, where he began his career as an architectural intern. Throughout his career, his work has been featured in several magazines, including "South Shore Magazine," "Boston Design Guide," "Boston Home Magazine," "Builder + Architect Magazine," and "Home Builder Digest." Similarly, Mr. Paolucci has been recognized in such articles as "Modern Luxury's Modern Man Spotlight" and "Meet Nicholas Paolucci of MASS Architect."
An expert in his field, Mr. Paolucci earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University. Subsequently, he expanded his professional knowledge, becoming LEED AP Homes accredited through the U.S. Green Building Council, a licensed architect through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and a registered architect in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Paolucci aligns himself with the American Institute of Architects, the Boston Society for Architecture, the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston, the International Furnishings and Design Association, and the Professional Remodeling Organization of New England.
Alongside his work, Mr. Paolucci donates to the North and South Shore Habitats for Humanity, the Milton Public Library, and the Milton Historical Society. Given his professional achievements, he has been honored many times, earning three Golden Whisk Awards from the Boston Society for Architecture, the Trade Partner of the Year Award from the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston, the Rising Star Architect Award from Boston Home, and two Gold Prism Awards. Additionally, Mr. Paolucci was recognized on Angie's List with an A+ rating. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in collaborating with other builders. One project in particular was a house in Quincy, Massachusetts, which he worked on with a partner and received the Prism Award for Best Single Family Home Under 3,000 Square Feet from the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his approachable nature, supportive spouse, and attentive ear. Mr. Paolucci intends to venture into net-zero housing projects and green building initiatives in the coming years.
