Driven by his passion for automotive history and considerable editing and writing expertise, Mr. Keefe presently serves as the owner of the eponymous Keefe Media International, which publishes three car magazines and one newsletter, including Poncho Perfection, the only all-Pontiac magazine, Impala News, the official publication of the National Impala Association and CORSA Communique'. In this capacity, he oversees the editing of all three publications, two of which they own and the third which is produced under contract for the Corvair Society of America. In recent years, Mr. Keefe has also managed the merger of his company with the National Impala Association.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Keefe gained valuable expertise in editing and writing within the automotive industry through Hot Rod, High-Performance Pontiac, Mecum Auctions, Pontiacracing.com, Collectible Automobile, Pontiac Enthusiast Magazine, and General Motors. Throughout his career, Mr. Keefe has also served as a Marshall at the Eyes on Design Classic Car Show, wrote six episodes of The American Musclecar, which aired on Speedvision/Speed TV, served as a production coordinator on the ABC special, Hey, Hey it's the Monkees! and appeared on-camera for The Dream Machines, which aired on The History Channel.
Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Keefe earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Journalism with a minor in history from St. John Fisher University. In recognition of his professional achievements, he won 15+ "Golden Quill Awards" through Old Cars Weekly and a Silver Award from the International Automotive Media Competition. Likewise, Mr. Keefe received a Best Marque-Specific Award and a Gold Award from the Automotive Heritage Awards, which has been the highlight of his career thus far.
The cornerstone of Mr. Keefe's success lies in the support of his fiancée, Ann Haines, whom he has been with for 18 years, and his mentors, Dr. James E. Seward, R. George Ellis and the late Steven G. Collison. In the coming years, he intends to experience his career's continued growth and success. Ultimately, Mr. Keefe aims to add video production to Keefe Media International's portfolio and has just finished writing his fourth book, The History of Pontiacs in Drag Racing, which will be published by CarTech. He has previously written three books, Grand Prix: Pontiac's Luxury Performance Car, How to Restore Your Pontiac GTO 1964-1974 and Pontiac Concept and Show Cars.
