Having gone undiagnosed with dyslexia throughout his school years, Mr. Orofino often struggled with writing. Drawn to computers while coming of age, he found the work much more enjoyable because he had the freedom to be technical, inventive, and creative. As an engineer, Mr. Orofino specialty is design for manufacturing, starting with a concept, detailing it, ensuring it can be built. Finding inspiration in his capabilities, he also follows the steps of his grandfather, a successful mechanical engineer from the prestigious ENSAM in Aix en Provence.
Mr. Orofino completed pre-mechanical engineering A-level coursework in France in 2004. He subsequently earned intermediate master's degrees in mechanical production engineering with a major in computer-aided manufacturing from the Université de Sud in Toulon Vars, France, in 2006 and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from ITII Arts et Métier Paris-Tech in France in 2011. While in college, Mr. Orofino also completed an internship at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia for three months in 2005, specializing in mechanical design.
