Additionally, Mr. Jordan expanded his professional experience as the lead infrastructure operations analyst for Bank of New York Mellon, through which he provided hardware systems support for thousands of physical and virtual servers, and as an information technology specialist for HCA Healthcare in their data centers.
Backed by years of considerable expertise, Mr. Jordan excels as an information technology auditor for the State of Tennessee. In this capacity, he conducts information technology audits by evaluating physical security, network infrastructure, and overall operational efficiency to ensure compliance. Similarly, he helps the state identify weak technological areas to transform them into strengths. Dedicated to expanding his knowledge, Mr. Jordan received a Bachelor of Science in information technology from Western Governors University in 2013, a data center certificate from Schneider University, a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification through the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and certifications in JavaScript, web design, database design, information technology, A+, Network+, Server+, Security+, and Project+.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Jordan aligns himself with the Middle Tennessee chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, the Amateur Radio Relay League, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Due to his considerable knowledge, he has contributed to the American Radio Relay League's monthly membership journal, "QST." Likewise, Mr. Jordan has been recognized through Who's Who Among Young American Professionals.
While his career has been filled with standout moments, Mr. Jordan takes the most pride in participating in the art of racing dirt bikes that led to racing sports cars and becoming an instructor for high speed driving at the Nashville Superspeedway. Even though racing sports cars presented challenges, his technological knowledge helped. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his devotion to lifelong learning and the strong work ethic he built during his time at Lanier Business Products. Within the coming years, Mr. Jordan intends to reinstate his racing license and continue his tenure with the State of Tennessee.
