His career also includes roles as a project manager and test technician at Hampton Tedder Technical Services from 2006 to 2008, an outside sales representative at Circuit Breaker Sales Inc. from 2005 to 2006, a maintenance division manager at Best Infrared Services Inc. from 1992 to 2005 and a cable puller at Prime Time Cable Inc. from 1988 to 1992.
Mr. Peterson's expertise in substations is well-recognized within the industry. He is an active member of the International Electrical Testing Association (NETA), serving on the training committee and the technical resource committee. His commitment to excellence was highlighted in 2018 when he obtained the NETA Senior Certified Technician Level IV credential from NETA, a prestigious certification held by fewer than 400 people worldwide. This achievement underscores his extensive knowledge and skills in electrical testing and his dedication to professionalism.
Mr. Peterson's academic background has played a crucial role in his professional success. He earned a Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis on leadership and management, from the University of La Verne in 2022. Additionally, he received a Bachelor of Science in sociology from the same institution, as well as an Associate of Science in industrial electricity and an Associate of Arts in general education, both from Chaffey College. His certifications also include a California General Electrician license obtained in 2022.
