His high school, DeMatha, recognizes Paul as a gentleman and scholar. Additionally, Mr. Medina has obtained several certifications that have furthered his expertise, including those from FMS, NASM, and Tune Up fitness with Jill Miller. He is obtaining certification from the Brent Brookbush institute. He has also been certified in neurokinetic therapy. Outside of his professional life, Mr. Medina is deeply committed to giving back to his community through various volunteer activities. He has been involved with several organizations, including Ledo's Civic Club, the Knights of Columbus, Truman Charities, Sasha Bruce Youthwork, Young Catholic Professionals, PADI and the Brendan Looney Foundation. His dedication to service was recognized in 2023 when he received the Best of Washington award.
