Prior to her work with The Cyber Guild, Ms. Sallis served as a consulting partner at Telos Partners, exemplifying her capacity for driving business success through strategic human resources initiatives. Her impressive background also includes serving as a global leader human resources with BAE Systems. Her journey through these roles reflects a consistent trajectory of professional growth and a commitment to excellence in her field.
Building upon a solid educational foundation, Ms. Sallis earned a Master of Science in personnel and development from the University of Hull in 1999 after obtaining a Bachelor of Science, with honors, in industrial relations and social policy from the University of Kent in 1989. She also holds a diploma from Loreto College in Ireland, her home country. In fact, Ms. Sallis attributes her resilience to her upbringing in Northern Ireland during challenging times and the loss of both parents at a young age. Her strong family network and innate curiosity propelled her to pursue higher education and ultimately led her into the realm of cybersecurity, where she has made significant contributions.
In her personal life, Ms. Sallis finds joy in traveling and is committed to evolving The Cyber Guild into a sustainable, community-driven organization that can thrive independently of her involvement. She envisions herself guiding the organization toward new heights under future leadership while embracing the philosophy that "one should never say never" when it comes to life's possibilities.
