Prior to his current position, Mr. Warshaw's career was marked by significant roles that shaped his expertise and reputation in the legal community. He was a shareholder at Warshaw & Barnes PC, from 1995 to 2001 and served in private practice from 1990 to 1995 and again from 2001 to 2010. His early career saw him as an associate at Magee & Graham from 1988 to 1990 and at Drazin & Warshaw PC from 1976 to 1988. Additionally, he contributed to the legal profession as a law secretary to Honorable Maurice Walsh at the New Jersey Superior Court from 1975 to 1976.
In addition to his current endeavors, Mr. Warshaw has served as an adjunct professor of business law at Brookdale Community College from 1990 to 2005 and at Monmouth University since 2004. His dedication extends beyond teaching to include significant contributions as an arbitrator for the New Jersey Superior Court since 1985, a mediator since 2001, and a mortgage mediator since 2008.
Mr. Warshaw's journey in the legal field began after his graduation from Brooklyn Law School in 1975 with a Juris Doctor, having previously studied sociology at the College of the Holy Cross, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1972. Following his academic achievements, he was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and the U.S. District Court of New Jersey, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the New York Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Well-regarded for his numerous contributions to the field, Mr. Warshaw has been recognized as one of the nation's top one percent legal professionals by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel and receiving such accolades as a Distinguished Counsel by Martindale Hubbell. He has been an Avvo Top Rated Lawyer since 2013 and has been listed in New Jersey's Top Legal Minds. In addition to these honors, he was named Irishman of the Year by the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick in 2006.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Warshaw has made significant contributions to civic organizations and educational institutions. He served as a trustee and president of the Brookdale College Foundation and has been actively involved with the Eastern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce, the Trenton Diocese Planned Giving Committee, the Monmouth County Human Relations Commission, the Christian Brothers Academy Alumni Association, the Red Bank Catholic High School Development Advisory Board, and the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of the Jersey Shore.
