Before joining Riverfront Sports, Mr. Clark found success as the co-founder of NEPA Elite Basketball in 2019. His program is notably run out of the Riverfront Sports Complex. It serves as the highest level of club basketball, playing some of the most talented athletes in the country and participating in advanced tournaments throughout the northeast.
Mr. Clark's distinguished career in sports management began as the director of Backcourt Hoops from 2016 to 2019, where he honed his team management and operations skills. He also coached for numerous teams, including as the associate head basketball coach at Keystone College between 2016 and 2017 and as the head men's basketball coach at Lackawanna College from 2014 to 2016. Mr. Clark's early career in this sector was marked by his experience as a graduate assistant basketball coach at Pace University between 2012 and 2014 and an athletic communications student assistant at Saint John's University from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, he worked in financial services at MassMutual Greater Philadelphia from 2020 to 2022.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Clark received a Bachelor of Science in communication arts with a minor in business administration from Saint John's University in 2011 and a Master of Science in educational studies from Pace University in 2014.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Clark is actively involved with civic-minded organizations such as the American Cancer Society Inc. and the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick. His engagement with these organizations reflects his commitment to giving back to the community and supporting causes close to his heart. Eager for the future of his career, Mr. Clark remains committed to further developing and enhancing the facility at Riverfront Sports and the surrounding area of Scranton.
