Prior to founding her firm, Ms. Goei served with Green Circle Salons, an environmental organization formed by her brother in Canada, specializing in recovering materials from salons and ensuring that they are recycled or recovered sustainably. Beginning as a regional sales director in 2014, Ms. Goei contributed to consistent sales growth and client engagement, culminating in her tenure as the director of sales, education and customer care in 2016. Following several years of overseeing sales strategies and educational programs, she went on to serve as the director of licensing and enterprise development from 2022 to 2023, where she played a pivotal role in expanding the organization's sustainable practices within the beauty industry. Throughout her tenure, Ms. Goei was instrumental in launching the organization in the United States alongside her brother and her husband, which allowed her the exquisite opportunity to collaborate closely with her family – experiences she treasures deeply.
Ms. Goei also held various roles in health care management, through which she built new curriculums and departments for hospitals and organizations. Over the course of her career, she has worked with individuals from youth to adults in life transitions, those with severe injuries and those in crisis. Notably, her professional journey is distinguished for her work with individual clients, as well as her success in building teams and collaborating with colleagues to expand businesses on a global scale.
Ms. Goei's career began on stage in 1996 as a professional ballet dancer. Performing on stage with prestigious companies in New York, Memphis, Charlotte and Grand Rapids until 2009, she delved into instructing others on the finer points of ballet techniques as a master teacher and choreographer while in Charlotte, laying the groundwork for her future as a life coach and uplifter of others. Among a myriad of works, she is noted for her performances in "Spoken in Red" by Nicolo Fonte and "Swan Lake" in 2002, "Hamlet" by Mark Diamond from 2001 to 2003, the world premiere of "Cinderella" by Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux from 2001 to 2002, the world premiere of "A Streetcar Named Desire" by Mark Diamond from 2001 to 2003, and "The Nutcracker" by Salvatore Aiello from 2000 to 2002. Earlier works to her credit have also included "A Tribute to Patsy Cline and Hank William," "Memphis," "Sleeping Beauty," and "The Bells," among many others. Although her ballet career halted due to an unforeseen injury, Ms. Goei is well-regarded for adapting gracefully to the change from stage to boardroom, equipped with a determination to forge a new path. She emphasizes that this journey is her greatest achievement; in those defining moments, she discovered her inner strength, unwavering self-assurance and courage.
Ms. Goei initially studied psychology, with a minor in dance, at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in 2008. In honor of her academic excellence, she was inducted as a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Following this accomplishment, she went on to attain a Master of Arts in counseling psychology, graduating summa cum laude from Western Michigan University in 2012. Combined with her credentials as a certified life and health coach, Ms. Goei has applied her academic achievements to empower individuals across various stages of life and career transitions.
Married with one daughter and one son, Ms. Goei attributes much of her success to the support of her close-knit community of family, friends and colleagues. She also credits her fearlessness as she has ventured into unknown territories to seek personal and professional growth. Although she has experienced several challenges, she is marked by her triumphs and embraces each facet of her journey as an opportunity for learning. As such, this has instilled in Ms. Goei a profound understanding and confidence in her ability to adapt, evolve and cultivate love.
