Her tenure at Terumo Cardiovascular Group from 2011 to 2021 saw her progress through several positions, culminating in her work as a Facilities Engineering Manager. During this time, she made significant contributions to the company, including saving over $500,000 before moving on to other ventures.
Ms. Graham previously distinguished herself in numerous engineering and manufacturing positions at Philip Morris, Coca-Cola Company, Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories, and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, beginning in 1989. A notable highlight of her career was her appointment as the first African American female maintenance supervisor at the Richmond, Virginia, plant of Philip Morris, marking a significant milestone in both her career and the history of the plant.
Ms. Graham's early career was marked by the guidance of several mentors, among whom was a gentleman with work ethics as demonstrated by her father. This individual happened to be her manager at Philip Morris, and had high expectations for her work and refused to accept anything less. Ms. Graham has come to appreciate this attitude over the years, recognizing that setting high expectations for others can result in higher performance levels. The female mentor later in her career was instrumental in supporting her career change from quality back to facilities management. This change proved to be the perfect change with perfect timing in 2021.
Ms. Graham's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Temple University in 1988, and a Master Certificate in Six Sigma from Villanova University in 2010. She is also a certified Master Trainer in investigations and CAPA, Technical Writing, and Risk Analysis by PathWise, Inc. and previously a Certified Quality Auditor by the American Society for Quality. In accounting for her success, Ms. Graham largely credits her commitment to excellence and belief in consistently bringing her best self to every endeavor.
Outside of her professional life, Ms. Graham is focused on her family and achieving personal goals that include obtaining her master's degree and launching her own compliance writing training enterprise for pharmaceutical, medical device, and bioscience corporations.
