His leadership capabilities were evident during his tenure as chief executive officer at Alvarado Hospital Medical Center for Tenet Healthcare in the Greater San Diego Area from 1991 to 2006 which included two years working at Tenet's Regional office in Irvine, CA. Mr. Weinbaum began his illustrious career as chief executive officer at West Boca Medical Center, opening the new Hospital for Tenet Healthcare in Boca Raton, Florida, from 1985 to 1990 and at Lincoln West Medical Center in the Greater Chicago Area from 1983 to 1985. Prior to 1983, he held hospital assistant and associate administrative roles with progressive responsibility for operations, business development and financial performance. Achieved significant success in program development, financial turnarounds, physician network development and contracting.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Weinbaum is deeply committed to mentoring and enjoys playing basketball, exercising, spending time with family and friends, and caring for pets. He is married to Margo Weinbaum and is a father to three sons.
