In addition to his work with Atlantic Consulting Solutions, Mr. Assad currently serves as the co-founder and CFO of Providere Advisors LLC and as a senior business advisor for BR4 Klotz and BR4 Quaestum Capital LLC. Among his prior roles, he was employed as the vice president of business development at TradeRocket Inc., a growth accelerator at CSR LLC and a senior analyst at The Pelican Group, beginning in 2011. Mr. Assad's leadership skills were honed at Mission Network, where he began as a corporate manager and worked his way up to the role of operation director, serving until 2011. During that same period, he took on the international role of executive director for SportsLeader.
Mr. Assad's academic background has been instrumental in shaping his professional success. Beginning his education at Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum in Rome, Italy, he earned a bachelor's degree and a Master of Philosophy. Following this accomplishment, he went on to study at Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico, from which he earned an International Master of Business Administration and a master's degree in social responsibility. Mr. Assad's commitment to continued learning is demonstrated by his latest pursuit: the General Management Program at The Wharton School, where he has previously completed a number of programs and certifications, such as Strategy and Management for Competitive Advantage and Business Model Innovation in the Digital Age and Negotiation at Harvard Business School.
The great success of Mr. Assad's career has been inspired by his upbringing. His mother devoted herself first to her children as a single mom studying for and working as a nurse, and then to creating a nonprofit organization that has now been running for 30 years helping those in most need across South America, Asia and Africa. His mother's selflessness taught him to value helping others, a lesson that has driven many of his personal achievements, such as serving as the Board Chair of Prospera, Inc., and serving on the board of directors for Latinas Rise Inc., and as the head of the strategy committee and board of directors for Catholic Charities Atlanta, among others.
Mr. Assad is also keenly aware of how precious family is; now that he has a son of his own, he has cut back significantly on work-related travel so that he can spend more time at home. When he's not working, he enjoys traveling with his family, writing restaurant reviews, and playing ice hockey in the Atlanta Amateur Hockey League.
Looking ahead, Mr. Assad envisions expanding Atlantic Consulting Solutions globally with offices on every continent that touches the Atlantic Ocean. He is also working on a book that will encapsulate his passion for empowering small business owners.
