Before stepping into her current positions, Ms. Gerritsen served as the chief administrative officer at Suntuity and the president and chief operating officer of the Artemis Institute for Clinical Research. She is particularly proud of her contributions to the latter company, as she played a pivotal role in establishing a culture of transparency and trust during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her career also includes tenures at Retail Ecommerce Ventures as the chief of staff and Cali Bamboo as the vice president of customer experience and business transformation, among other roles.
Ms. Gerritsen's educational background has been instrumental in her career success. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in marketing and international business from the Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. Additionally, she holds several certifications that have bolstered her expertise, including as a Project Management Professional and Agile Certified Practitioner from the Project Management Institute, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the Lean Enterprise Institute and a Certified Product Owner and Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance.
