Mrs. Robel's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in administration and management from the University of Maryland in 1976. She attributes much of her success to the influence of her mother, who overcame significant obstacles as an immigrant to run a successful grocery store and restaurant for over three decades. This experience instilled in Mrs. Robel the importance of perseverance, hard work and commitment to family and community.
