Mr. Quintana is well-regarded in the field of accounting and finance, with more than a decade of professional experience to his credit. Serving as a principal at CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) since 2023, he has specialized in auditing and assurance in the health care industry, focusing his attention on senior independent living, assisted living, home health care and hospice care. Recently, he has expanded his expertise to include tax services, outsourcing and assisting businesses with their monthly bookkeeping and growth strategies. In his new role at CLA, he will be tasked with leading and expanding the home care based services in New England. Furthermore, he has devoted considerable effort to fostering teamwork within the organization and building professional relationships with his peers through external networking.
Prior to ascending to the rank of principal, Mr. Quintana served CLA in several other capacities, including as a manager from 2019 to 2023 and a senior associate from 2017 to 2019. Earlier in his career, he served as an audit associate at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP between 2015 and 2017, where he first cultivated experience in auditing. He also gained initial experience as a tax associate and an intern at Gilman & Ciocia between 2013 and 2015. He also served as an assistant manager and certified trainer in the hospitality industry at Darden from 2007 to 2016.
To prepare for his career, Mr. Quintana pursued a formal education at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Old Westbury, receiving a Bachelor of Science in accounting in 2010 and a Master of Science in accounting in 2015. His academic journey began at Nassau Community College, receiving an Associate of Science in business administration in 2007. To wit, he earned numerous academic honors, including induction into various national honor societies and recognition on the Dean's List each semester attended. Mr. Quintana has been a certified public accountant in the states of New York and Massachusetts since 2017 and 2019, respectively, and has been a certified fraud examiner since 2017.

He attributes much of his success to the support and guidance he has received from his many mentors throughout his career, including Alisha Crowley CPA, his mentor and advocate at CLA, who has provided him with invaluable advice and exposure that has greatly aided his advancement during his career. In addition, Mr. Quintana was influenced by the expertise of professor Dr. David Glodstein, who coached him during his studies at SUNY Old Westbury and encouraged him to obtain his certifications in accounting and as a fraud examiner. Furthermore, he credits his supportive wife, Samantha, as a guiding light and beacon of inspiration throughout his career journey.
To remain abreast of developments within his areas of expertise, Mr. Quintana has maintained an active affiliation with organizations pertinent to his interests, such as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Likewise, he has been deeply committed to philanthropy and mentorship opportunities, often engaging in pro bono work and allocating time to teaching accounting courses to help entrepreneurs manage their finances effectively. He also recently began serving on the board of directors of Stone Rehabilitation and Senior Living in 2024.
Heavily involved with the Association of Latino Professionals of America (ALPFA), Mr. Quintana is particularly passionate about coaching fellow Latin Americans and has dedicated time and resources to ensuring their skills and confidence in professional settings. Born in El Salvador during the midst of a civil war, Mr. Quintana immigrated to the United States with his parents at a formative age and now leverages his experiences to help others of Latin American descent.
