She also held leadership positions within the Lakewood Junior Spartans as the vice president of planning and programming and as the girls' athletic director. Additionally, Ms. Dixon is an active member of Palmetto Mainstreet, PFC Black Chamber of Commerce, and the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and serves as a deaconess and communications director at her church.
Ms. Dixon attributes much of her success to her resilience and journey from overcoming adversity to achieving professional recognition. Among her proudest achievements are being featured on a popular podcast within the death care industry and participating in a panel discussion hosted by the Pinellas County Urban League.
