He also made significant contributions as a senior product manager at Neustar MarketShare from 2015 to 2017, where he played a key role in driving the core infrastructure for a product focused on multi-touch attribution. This product eventually led to a successful buyout when Neustar acquired it and its team for $450 million. Mr. Nawaz is also proud of his time at Microsoft as a senior product manager from 2010 to 2012 & 2013 to 2015 with two roles, where he was honored to be part of the early team that rebranded Live Search to Bing, significantly impacting the search engine's market presence.
Mr. Nawaz's expertise in his field was born out of his academic background, which began with a bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering earned in India at the R.V. College of Engineering. After participating in an exchange program in Tokyo, he immigrated to the United States and enrolled at Columbia University, graduating with a Master of Science in computer science.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Nawaz is deeply involved in civic-minded organizations. He serves as a mentor at Techstars, is a member of the alumni representative committee at Columbia University. Additionally, he has availed himself as an advisor at Advising for Good.
