Mr. Alford's career began at UL Solutions, formerly Underwriters Laboratories, where he worked from 2005 to 2023. Throughout his tenure there, his exceptional skills and dedication were recognized when he became the youngest engineer ever to receive the company's highest award, the UL Mark of Excellence Award, at the age of 27. He attributes much of his career success to his amiable personality, excellent communication skills, and comprehensive global expertise.
Serving as the foundation for his professional achievements, Mr. Alford earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Union College in Schenectady, New York, graduating in 2003. He is very proud of earning a prestigious full-ride scholarship from Union College, which facilitated his academic pursuits based on his merit and allowed him to complete his education.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Alford is deeply committed to giving back to the community.
